non-governmental, non-political, humanitarian and impartial Organisation set up in Tehran and Geneva.

Mission
The Mission of FERDOUS International Foundation is to provide overall assistance and
support, in terms of livelihood, humanitarian, health, educational and cultural services to the
needy and the deprived people, including refugees in all concerned countries (particularly
least developed, developing, failing states), in order to achieve self-reliance, respect of
human dignity and universal values as well as economic growth.
To this end, FERDOUS puts in place integrated programmes of humanitarian, environmental
& socio-economic assistance, thereby fostering sustainable development for all.
The assistance focus of FERDOUS’ programmes in order “to serve Humanity” and
contribute to a better, prosperous and just world is, among others, on the following areas,
interlinked among them:

Through such programming channels, FERDOUS International Foundation aims at serving
the humanitarian needs in a socially responsible and holistic way. FERDOUS contributes thus
to the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), among other global
development initiatives, practicing solidarity partnership with all relevant actors and
stakeholders, as appropriate.

In order to implement its goals FERDOUS is in the position to:
– Formulate, elaborate and lead programmes of assistance alone and/or in cooperation
with other governmental, non-governmental as well as private sector organisations, as
appropriate.
– Organise events and communicate actively in order to increase public awareness to its
cause as well as incite support and partnership from key stakeholders.
– Produce and diffuse publications and other information materials, including digital in
connection with its goals.
Based on the leadership, reputation, moral stature and skills of its organisational bodies, such
as the Foundation Board, the Executive or Steering Committee, FERDOUS is being put in the
position to directly access and partner with comprehensive local and global networks of highlevel
contacts in all relevant sectors of stakeholders’ interest, namely Governments, Private
Corporations including banks and other actors of the financial sector, International
Organizations, NGOs and Civil society at large, Academy and responsible media.
